Street Fighter V
After placing first in a Japanese fan poll two years ago, Capcom has decided to include Karin as the next character in Street Fighter V, with a new look and playstyle from her last appearance in Street Fighter Alpha 3. Also at TGS, the company dropped some info about the game's online infrastructure.
Karin practices her own Kanzuki fighting style. She's generally a well-rounded fighter who has a dash to close distances, and her V-Trigger allows her to use her Guren Ken attack. This can be followed up by half-a-dozen moves, including a flying throw, backdash for counter-attacks, and a low sweep. Be sure to check out her debut trailer below.
At TGS, the company also announced the Capcom Fighters Network – a community-building component of the game's online infrastructure with features such as a heat map for finding where the action is (including being able to drill down into individual users), match stats, the ability to designate rivals, replays, invites, and more. Capcom says it will unveil more details about CFN soon.
Street Fighter V comes out for PS4 and PC in the spring of 2016.
