Stories: The Path of Destinies
Stories: The Path of Destinies, the new action RPG from Montreal-based indie studio Spearhead Games, just came out today. The game has arrived on PS4 and PC, and the developers have released a launch trailer to commemorate it.
Stories takes place in the land of Boreas, where the protagonist Reynardo is the last thing standing against a world-consuming empire. Reynardo uses his unique ability to reverse time in order to find the best way to stop the empire, living (and dying) through many different scenarios to find the right one. Players can expect a fast-paced combat system, weapon creation and customization, and environmental navigation that is "reminiscent of classic choose-your-own-adventure books." Stories: The Path of Destinies is now available on the PlayStation 4 and PC for $14.99.
