Star Wars: Galactic Defense

Disney has been dipping its toe into a number of genres with the Star Wars license. The latest is tower defense, with Star Wars: Galactic Defense.

Like Disney’s Clash of Clans clone, Star Wars Commander, Galactic Defense is a free-to-play title. You’ll choose between the light side and the dark side, field familiar characters, and use support cards to back up your troops.

We reached out to developer DeNA for more information about the monetization mechanism, and found out that everything can be earned through playing. Players can unlock new characters and other unspecified "content" by playing or buy spending money to speed up progress. The title is available now on iOS, Android, and Amazon's Fire devices.
