The SSX series has always been about tricks and big air, but the latest installment is taking it a step further. Characters can equip wingsuits, which will allow them to thumb their gloved noses at gravity while whizzing through the air. A new trailer shows the suits in action, in preparation for the game's launch next week.
As you can see in the clip below, the wingsuit turns your racer into an energy-drink-swilling flying squirrel. OK, it's technically gliding, but there's no reason to split hairs here.
The game launches February 28 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A demo is currently available, too, and the video below provides valuable tips on how to tear through one of its courses. You can also check out part one here.
