Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
Atlus is squeaking this one in under the wire. We were told to expect Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse during summer 2016 and the release will barely make it in that window.
This game’s story criss-crosses with the narrative of the original Shin Megami Tensei IV. However, Atlus says you don’t need to have played that game to enjoy this one.
The trailer above introduces you to other hunters you’ll meet as you traverse the ruins of Tokyo. Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse will be out on 3DS on September 20 in North America.
Europe will be getting a retail version, though it may not be out at the same time. Atlus and Sega announced today a deal with Deep Silver that will bring the same to the EU and UK.
Note: We have updated the story to correct language around the timing for a European version. We apologize for the error.
