The story of Schrödinger’s Cat is one of my favorite in all of science. The concept that an organism could be considered both alive and dead at the same time is fascinating. It also makes for a great superhero origin story.

A new game from Italic Pig runs with the superhero theory in a new game called Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark out today for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is a puzzle platformer.

Players will need to collect an army of quarks to access new abilities to capture escaped primitive particles. Also, there are science jokes.

You can check out the trailer above and purchase the game today on consoles for $9.99. The PC version is listed at $14.99.
