Sony has announced via the PlayStation Blog that Q*bert: Rebooted is coming to the PS4, PS3, and Vita. The reimagining of the classic Gottlieb arcade game includes both the original Q*bert and the updated Q*bert: Rebooted, which features hexagonal levels and extra playable characters. The game, which is being developed and published by Sideline Amusements and Gonzo Games, was originally released in July 2014, for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android platforms.

The Q*bert character, which was acquired along with the brand when Sony Pictures Entertainment bought Gottlieb's parent company Columbia Pictures in 1989, most recently appeared in the video game themed Disney movie Wreck-It-Ralph, and is also set to appear in the upcoming live-action film Pixels.
