Coffee Powered Machine's Okhlos is a goofy, strange game that tasks you with building an enraged mob who will follow your commands to take down the oppressive Greek gods.

Okhlos is an action game with light real-time strategy mechanics. You begin with enlisting a band of angry followers, and then move from one area to the next. Each run is relatively short as you try to get as far as you can to reach a new location. If you don't continue to destroy everything and everyone around you, you run the risk of having your followers grow bored and abandon the crowd. You play as the leader, who is a philosopher based on Ancient Greek history, such as Aristotle. When your leader dies, they are replaced by another, but only a number of switches can happen before it can result in a game over.

The fast-paced gameplay makes for both a chaotic and fun experience where it's thrilling to tackle enemies with an aggressive group. The more you manage to destroy, the angrier and more passionate your mob grows. Soon, you go head-to-head with giant Greek gods who each have distinct attack maneuvers.

The retro-styled Okhlos launches on Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux as of August 18.
