2K has just released an all new trailer detailing the new features they are bringing to NBA 2K15’s online mode, MyPARK. The mode, which was first introduced in NBA2K14, is getting a wealth of new features and improvements in the latest game. New player upgrades, new courts, and new social integration options are just a few of the things mentioned in the trailer.

In this mode players will pick one of three communities to align themselves with and earn rep while playing for them. You can choose to play on your own turf with street rules or battle for control of the new Jordan Rec Center which features more traditional 5v5 matches with professional rules. There will even be weekly competitions between the three affiliations, leading up to a championship match where the winning team will receive a new court design. For more info on the factions, check out the video below.

According to the press release, NBA 2K15 will also balance the MyPLAYER mode with the new Attribute Upgrades feature, which force players to choose a specialty rather than just maxing out every skill. Wait times between MyPARK games have also been shortened due to the new 15 point limit. Communication is also easier thanks to the NBA 2K15 Mobile App which lets you send texts to squad members from your smartphone which then appear on their game screen.

NBA 2K15 is releasing on October 7 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. For more info on the game, check out Matt Bertz’s write up on what we know about the game so far.
