Release
Fans of NetherRealm's Injustice will likely remember the DC fighting game's tie-in mobile title. That's probably because there were costumes locked behind the title that many have still failed to unlock.
This morning, Warner Bros. announced that Mortal Kombat X will be getting its own mobile title. Based on the brief glimpses in the trailer below, it looks to follow the same formula, and it will have unlocks for the console and PC version.
Warner Bros. describes it as a "fighting/card battler," which is essentially what the previous effort was. Players collected Injustice character cards, upgraded them, and fought AI opponents using swipes and taps. It will be out in April for iOS and Android devices.
Mortal Kombat X will be out on April 14 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. For more, check out the recently released story trailer.
