by Connor Trinske on Mar 10, 2016 at 10:50 AM

EA and DICE have revealed the latest developer diary for Mirror's Edge Catalyst. In it, the team discusses the details of how the gameplay of Mirror's Edge has evolved in the upcoming game.

The embedded video shows how DICE has updated and refined the game's movement system throughout development. They also share some info about how combat will work without guns, and the many opportunities that the game's free-roaming structure will provide. The sound team also explains how the player's actions will affect the in-game music, which has been composed by Solar Fields.

Catalyst recently got a brief gameplay trailer that showed off the game's movement, and signups are still open for the closed beta that will be running soon. The game is set to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 24.
