Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
A new Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor trailer gives us a new look at some customization options for Talion. As players progress through the ranks, dominating peons and slaughtering warchiefs, Talion will unlock powerful runes for his weapons.
Runes will add effects like fire to arrows or add significant boosts to sword, dagger, or bow damage. You’ll also be able to loot epic runes by accomplishing specific tasks, like dominating an underling to issue a death threat against his warchief before killing the boss.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be out on October 7 for Xbox one, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. For more, you can check out our complete coverage hub from the December 2013 issue.
