Actors Troy Baker and Nolan North have appeared in significant roles in nearly every video game ever made, but the two rarely work so closely, as the duo discusses in the latest behind the scenes video for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.

Baker and North often appear in the same games, but rarely as interacting characters. Baker, for example, played Joel in the Last of Us, while North played David – two characters that did not interact. In Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Baker plays protagonist Talion while North plays The Black Hand of Sauron. The two characters don't get along, but they definitely interact.

In the video below, Baker and North talk about their appreciation for Lord of the Rings and for the Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor script, and also talk about how most assume the two have a rivalry since they are both prominent performers in the world of video games.

For more of Baker's thoughts on his long time love for Lord of the Rings, head here. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor releases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 30. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game were recently delayed until November 18.
