Capcom has announced that you'll soon be able to play classic Mega Man titles on your current-gen console, PC, and eventually 3DS. The publisher has announced a "Legacy Collection" featuring the blue bomber, complete with some extras.

The Mega Man Legacy Collection features Mega Man 1 through Mega Man 6, a challenge mode, and a "museum collection" of art assets. It's scheduled for this summer on PC and current-gen consoles. A 3DS release will be coming this winter.

The games will be running at 1080p on PC and console. Capcom has priced the bundle at $14.99.

Additionally, Capcom has confirmed Mega Man Legacy Collection, Resident Evil 0, Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition, and Street Fighter V to E3. The company says it will be releasing new information and assets for Street Fighter V on June 15. Capcom's next fighter is coming to PlayStation 4 and PC.

Our Take
It's hard to get excited about the Mega Man Legacy Collection. In 2004, Capcom released the Mega Man Anniversary Collection on PlayStation 2 and Gamecube (an Xbox release arrived in 2005).

That bundle included 10 games: Mega Man through Mega Man 8, Mega Man: The Power Battle, and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters. The latter two made their debut appearance outside of Japan in that collection.

This also included new (optional) arrangements for music from the first six games. The PlayStation 2 version featured the first episode of the Mega Man cartoon. The Gamecube version included an interview with Keiji Inafune, and the Xbox edition included the interview and the first episode of the Mega Man NT Warrior cartoon.

The price is reasonable for this bundle, but not including items that were bundled in a decade ago does make it feel a bit empty. If you've never played these games though, this is your moment. Do it. You won't be sorry.
