The Series Returns To Its Single-Player Roots
Last night, Piranha Games officially announced MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries to a crowd of fans during Mech Con 2016 in Vancouver, Canada. The upcoming PC title will feature tactical mech combat in its single player campaign driven by player choice.
Taking place in 3015, players will take the role of a rookie mech pilot who finds themselves in the midst of a war between factions. During the keynote presentation last night, seven minutes of pre-alpha gameplay were revealed. You can watch it all below.
MechWarriors 5: Mercenaries is slated for a 2018 release on PC.
