Magnetic: Cage Closed
With the success of The Talos Principle pumping new life into the first-person physics puzzle genre, Magnetic: Cage Closed comes at an opportune time. The title, which you may have guessed focuses on the power of magnetism, is in development by Guru Games and will be playable at this weekend’s PAX South.
Magnetic borrows from other puzzlers, like Portal, with a dash of Rockstar’s Manhunt. Players take one the role of a prisoner in an ever-shifting landscape. The Warden urges you on, pushing you forward through deadly traps that you must surmount with the aid of a magnet gun.
For those that can’t make it to PAX South, you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on Magnetic: Cage Closed. The title is slated for a March release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
