Injustice 2
During today's Mortal Kombat X Pro League Finals, NetherRealm's Ed Boon took to the stage to show off the first gameplay footage of the upcoming DC universe brawler, Injustice 2. According to Boon, the project has been kept secret for two years within the studio.
The trailer shows new characters like Supergirl and Gorilla Grodd making their first appearances, as well as more involved environmental interactions. It shows more intricate moves, including Superman pummeling Batman through the sky and Supergirl getting tossed through a train car.
You can check out the trailer for yourself below. Stick around until the end for probably the coolest Aquaman moment in gaming history, which could potentially hint at finishing moves for this
Injustice 2 is currently scheduled to release in 2017. Boon says we'll be learning much more about Injustice 2 during E3 this coming week.
