In a new developer diary video posted on the PlayStation Blog, Hellblade developer Ninja Theory demonstrates how they are having to retool their development process to create what they claim will be their "most ambitious" game to date with a team of only 13 people.

The team is intent on crafting an awe-inspiring Viking underworld, or "land of mist and fog" – home to temple of the dead, Helheim. The trick is doing this with only one environment artist. So far, the team seems to be making good progress, relying on some clever streamlining, the Unreal Engine, satellite map data, and even Pinterest to craft a world that both pays tribute and expands on Norse lore.

It's interesting to see how the game is coming together, Ninja Theory is definitely making the process very public – something that should be useful to aspiring game designers.
