Hard West

This new video offers a first look into the gameplay of the upcoming tactical western Hard West. It comes complete with developer commentary, and walks viewers through a ten-minute bank robbery interrupted by a trio of demons.

The video shows a scenario included in the alpha build being showcased at PAX Prime next weekend. The half-dead gunslinger Warren and his crew are attempting to rob a bank in a quiet old-western town. The setup stages of the game include both required and optional objectives that change how the mission goes down. One such optional objective featured in the video includes freeing a criminal, named the Child Eater, from the local jail to help with your heist. Things get complicated when the townspeople become aware of the gang's intentions and summon a group of demons to take down the bandits.

Hard West arrives on PC, Mac, and Linux this fall.
