Hand of Fate
After a successful Kickstarter campaign Defiant Development’s action-adventure RPG Hand of Fate moved to Steam Early Access to let fans get their hands on the new game as quickly as possible. As a bonus for those who bought the game early, Defiant will be releasing a new set of side missions developed by David Goldfarb, who previously worked on Payday and Battlefield.
Goldfarb’s side-mission will begin with the player discovering a corpse that is missing its shadow. This will lead the player on a quest to a new area, the Gorge of Beasts, where they will take on a mythical monstrosity that is plaguing the land. In addition to new missions and locations the content will have new encounters, items, and even a hidden quest.
Hand of Fate will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in January 2015, but you can get the Early Access build on Steam right now for $25. For more, check out our coverage from PAX 2014.
