Hand of Fate
Hand of Fate, a Kickstarted roguelike card game from developer Defiant Development, is coming to PlayStation 4 and Vita.
In the game, players have a deck with combat, equipment, and chance cards to use in a dungeon layed out out like a board game. The player's cards appear on the board as fully-modeled 3D objects as they fight and collect loot across the board.
The game is planned for PC this year, per its Kickstarter, and then it will come to Sony's consoles. "In theory, yes, you should be able to cross-save," writes Kim Allom, associate producer on the game, but the team is still working out these specifics. The game will not have micro-transactions, but the team is hoping to add content with future DLC. Unfortunately, Allom confirmed that the game will not contain characters from Manos: The Hands of Fate, the movie famous for being absolutely terrible, and the inspiration for this game of the same name.
