Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-
Arc System Works’ newest fighting game, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, will be released on December 16 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in North America, Aksys announced today. Developed on the Unreal 3 engine, the game will feature an all new graphical style that incorporates 3D models made to look like 2D sprites.
In addition to these flashy new graphics, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- will feature three all new characters bringing the roster total to 16. They did mention that one of the characters, Elphelt, will be DLC not included in the main game.
Aksys also mentions that the fighting systems have been vastly improved. This includes the long standing Roman Cancel mechanic, which lets you cancel an attack recovery for extended combos.
A limited edition version of the game will be available on both consoles for an extra $20.
