Gnog
Monsters are generally unsettling, terrifying things that you'd prefer to flee from, far and fast. By contrast, Gnog forces players to zoom in on weird creatures' heads and enter their minds to solve puzzles, complete with Sony's upcoming Morpheus virtual reality hardware.
Gnog is a collaborative project between developer Ko-Op and indie publisher/developer Double Fine. Ko-Op is also receiving funding from Sony's Indie Pub Fund initiative, since the game will be arriving on PlayStation 4 next year and taking advantage of Sony's VR headset. The psychadelic puzzle game is very enigmatic at this point, and watching the trailer below only makes the entire noggin-exploring adventure even more befuddling.
Ko-Op offers a few details about its game, like Rubik's cube-style puzzles and head scratchers featuring time manipulation. Also, one bullet point on their press site simply teases "Worms" as something players can look forward to. The website also includes an additional trailer, so check it out.
Gnog will hit PlayStation 4 in 2016 and PC/iOS at an unrevealed time down the road.
