Gears Of War 4
Old McFenix had a farm. After the locust were defeated and Sera saw peace once more, Marcus Fenix hung up the lancer and picked up a hoe.
As you can probably imagine (because Gears of War 4 isn't a Harvest Moon clone), things get bad again. The first trailer for Gears of War 4 is a juxtaposition between bucolic post-war life and a return to aggression as Marcus' son J.D. runs from a shadowy foe.
Set against a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's Sound of Silence, The Coalition and Microsoft seem to be trying to recapture the magic of the first Gears of War trailer. That was set against Gary Jules' cover of Mad World. The melancholy tone is a stark contrast to the action and gore of the game, which worked surprisingly well.
