Galaga Legions DX

Watch gameplay footage from the new game by the makers of Pac-Man Championship Edition.

The new game looks to take a lot of cues from the first Galaga Legions game, but adds some new abilities into the mix, and has an even crazier number of enemies and explosions on screen. A new "Focus Fire" ability is on display, as well as several situations where the player's ship is firing in multiple directions.

We haven't had the chance to play the game for ourselves, but the first gameplay trailer gives a pretty good idea of what to expect out of the project. Look for Galaga Legions DX to show up on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade later this year.
