F.E.A.R. 3's multiplayer is aiming to give players more variety than the standard deathmatch and capture the flag modes we've come to expect. Last week, Warner Bros. and Day 1 Studios showed off F***ing Run, which pits teams of players against an unstoppable wall of death. Today, they're highlighting Soul King, which is a more competitive game type.
In Soul King, players start off as ghostly spectres, with the goal of harvesting as many souls as possible. To do that, players have to jump into the bodies of AI enemies, taking on their forms and controlling their weapons. Once they've possessed a human, they can rack up the kills. When they die, however, their score is halved. Up to four players can compete in the mode. Check it out in action below.
