In the second Fallout 4 “What Makes You S.P.E.C.I.A.L.” video, we learn about the importance of perception. Using your five senses in the harsh wasteland gives you an edge in combat and can keep you out of trouble.
A high perception can increase your ability to hit an opponent while using the VATS targeting system. It can also enable you to pickpocket (or drop a live grenade into an enemy’s pocket) without being caught.
