In FIFA, NHL, NBA Live, and Madden, Ultimate Team is about using cards to field a squad with impressive skill and synergy. When EA announced it would be adding the mode to UFC, it wasn’t entirely clear just how it would work.

To answer that question, EA has released a new video walking us through what to expect. Players will build a team of five fighters to begin with using the creation tools. You can put your fighters in any weight class, and you’ll want to spread them out.

Cards represent four different things. Moves are culled from real UFC fighters, and some premium cards are signature moves. Attributes allow you to master specific fighting styles. There are also perks and consumables that you’ll find in packs. Some items are weight class specific.

Once your team is equipped with cards (purchased through in-game currency or real money), you can play single player or online with your fighters. Your team will level up, and you’ll earn more in-game currency with which to purchase new packs to tune your fighters.

EA Sports UFC 2 will be out on March 15 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
