When Divinity: Original Sin arrived on PC last year, it was lauded for its versatility. Using elements in combination allows players to create unique solutions to the game’s problems (both in and out of combat).

Today we get a chance to see some of the options available when fighting the game’s monsters. Fire spells can ignite explosive barrels or oil on the ground. Ice can make for slippery conditions. And steam and lightning can be used in combination to exorcise ghosts.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition will be out on October 27 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. All of the additions, including the new Inquisitor class, will be available on PC, too.

For more, check out our previous look at how Larian has adapted the game for consoles. You can also read our review of the original PC release to learn more about the game and its tactical, turn-based combat.
