Dishonored
Nine months after we revealed Arkane Studios' Dishonored to the world, publisher Bethesda has released the first trailer for the game. The CG video introduces players to Corvo, the former bodyguard of the slain Empress. After he's framed for her murder, he sets out to the corrupt Lord Regent to make him pay. As the trailer's tagline says, revenge solves everything in the world of Dishonored.
Corvo is a skilled assassin, though his bag of tricks extends far beyond the daggers and arrows that we've grown accustomed to. He's also blessed (or cursed) with supernatural abilities, which prove to be quite handy. As you can see in the clip below, he can use a mysterious mark on his hand to blast open doors, freeze time, and more. Judging from the stilt-walking heavies he encounters at the end of the trailer, Corvo will need all the help he can get.
