Devil's Third
Devil's Third is the latest title to escape THQ's collapse and find the light of day. The title, which was revealed to be under development for Wii U, has firm release dates in two territories.
While there's no confirmation yet about North America, the title is coming to Japan on August 4. Europe will get in on the action at the end of that month on August 28 (confirmed by Nintendo to IGN).
The video above shows off the hybrid third-person/first-person gameplay, the latter of which appears to be reserved for aiming down the sights of an equipped firearm. There are also some moments featuring boss fights.
The second half of the video focuses on eight-versus-eight multiplayer. There is a progression system in place, also. Players will need to switch between guns and blades to adjust for range.
You can check out some of the gameplay in a video released today (above). We've reached out to Nintendo to inquire about a North American release date. We'll update should we receive a response.
