Depth
I am old enough to remember playing the NES game Jaws when it was brand new. I vividly recall thinking that the game might have been much better if, instead of playing as the tiny humans, we had been given control of the ferocious titular shark.
Depth is an upcoming competitive multiplayer game that features play about as asymmetrical as it gets. One team takes on the role of divers, searching the ocean floor for treasure.
The others are enormous great white sharks, using sharp teeth and enhanced maneuverability to stalk and devour prey. There’s a progression system for both groups, with divers earning better weaponry and sharks “evolving.” The title is coming this November to PC.
