Dead Island Epidemic

Dead Island: Epidemic, the MOBA installment of Deep Silver’s Dead Island series, is now in free open beta on Steam. The announcement comes with a host of improvements to the game’s systems, including a new PvE mode and an overhaul of the game’s progression and crafting systems.

Crossroads, Epidemic’s new PvE mode, offers a greater challenge and more variation to the MOBA formula. Individual character levels have been removed, instituting a global level that applies to every character. Crafting and loot systems have also been reworked, offering a smarter drop system and loot-based weapon modification instead of workbench levels.
