Along with some new information about the latest in the Call of Duty franchise Infinite Warfare (which happens to be our July cover), during Sony's E3 conference we saw more of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare remaster. However, it will only be available as a digital download when purchasing the Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will include the single-player campaign and 10 multiplayer maps from the original game. So far five of those maps are known, including "Crash", "Backlot" and "Crossfire." Two more, "Overgrown" and "Bog" were revealed during a Forbes interview with Rob Kostich, executive vice president and general manager of the Call of Duty franchise at Activision. The remaining five maps are said to be released at a later date.

Stats from the original Modern Warfare will not carry over to this new edition, which will have its own dedicated servers for online gameplay. Some new screens are below that show off what the game will look like with new-gen graphics.

It will be available on PC and Xbox One on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's release date November 4. However, PlayStation 4 players will have the opportunity to play the game's campaign one month early on October 5 if they pre-order Infinite Warfare, as part of a exclusivity deal from Sony with Activision.
