Awesomenauts has been described as a mix between League of Legends/DotA and Super Smash Bros. Even if you aren't a fan of those games, take note: Ronimo Games' upcoming DLG looks like it'll be a good time for anyone who likes blowing things up, competition, and summoning angry bulls. In other words, just about everyone.
The gameplay trailer below highlights character Sheriff Lonestar as he advances on the opposing blue base. Along the way, you'll get familiarized with the game's character-upgrade system, which allows players to purchase things like the ability to chuck dynamite at the enemy. Or, if you don't feel like being subtle at all, you can even summon a raging bull to charge anyone (or thing) in your path. The video shows more than five minutes of gameplay, and best of all, the person behind the controls knows what they're doing. Whew!
Look for the game on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network sometime before the end of 2011.
