Ubisoft Takes A Stab At Jack The Ripper In DLC
by Matt Miller on Sep 15, 2015 at 02:07 AM

Ubisoft made an appearance at Sony’s Tokyo Press Conference today to reveal details about the upcoming Jack the Ripper DLC for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, along with further information on what players can expect if they choose to buy the full season pass.

The Jack the Ripper add-on is set 20 years after the main game, in 1888, and follows the events of the Autumn of Terror in Whitechapel, during which Jack the Ripper earned a name as one of history’s most infamous serial killers. Players help Inspector Frederick Abberline of Scotland Yard as he tackles the case.

In addition to the new Jack the Ripper missions, players who purchase the season pass will get The Last Maharaja mission pack, a set of ten new missions focused on helping Duleep Singh to reclaim his title of Maharaja, a mission called A Long Night, focused on Jacob helping out a fellow gang member, and the Streets of London gameplay pack, which promises an hour of additional missions and a wealth of new gear and outfits. The season pass also includes two separate equipment packs called the Steampunk and Victorian Legends pack, both of which include new gear and weapons. Finally, season pass holders are set to receive an XP boost unavailable to other players.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is set for release on PS4 and Xbox One on October 23, with a PC release the following day. No price has been detailed for the season pass.
