Ubisoft Shows Off Limited Edition And Naval Combat, Clarifies Release Dates

Ubisoft has revealed the contents of the exclusive Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Limited Edition in conjunction with a new trailer showing off naval combat.

The Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Limited Edition includes:

18-inch statue of Edward Kenway

Pirate flag measuring 28 inches by 48 inches, embroidered with the Assassins' crest

Art book

Steel game case

Original soundtrack

The newly released trailer gives a glimpse into how naval combat will play out in the next installment of Assassin's Creed. Life on the high seas clearly is not for the faint of heart. Or landlubbers.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 29, 2013. The release dates for Wii U and PC have not been confirmed. The Wii U will not be receiving a limited edition release.

The limited edition will be available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360  for $129.99 on release day and is available for preorder now. The limited edition will also be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at an undisclosed later date.
