With a successful Kickstarter campaign behind completed, Harmonix has plunged headlong into development on Amplitude. Some backers got to see the game at PAX in August, and now the rest of us can see what the team has been working on.
In a new video featuring creative director Ryan Lesser, you can see some of the changes coming to the Amplitude reboot. If you’re a fan of the original, you’ll notice that the camera and pacing are similar to the PS2 title.
The team has made some changes to track design though, with concave, convex, and twists build into the layout. Amplitude is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in March 2015. Harmonix continues to offer backer rewards to those that missed out on the campaign. You can check that out here.
