All Zombies Must Die!
The Japanese publisher is teaming up with developer Doublesix Games to slay some zombies this winter.
If Doublesix Games sounds familiar, you may have played their South Park tower defense game, which came out in 2009. All Zombies Must Die! is the spiritual successor to the studio's earlier title, Burn Zombie Burn! You know the drill – a small town is overrun by zombies, and the only way the four heroes pictured above (hey alien dude, nice rasta skully) can get out alive is by stabbing, shooting, and slamming their way though the hoards of undead.
So what makes this game different? It's created in the spirit of old school video games like Gauntlet and Zombies Ate My Neighbors, complete with an isometric view and four player local co-op. As you burninate the husks of your former neighbors, you can you rack up XP, find upgrades, and even craft new zombie slaying gear.
Look for All Zombies Must Die! on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Steam sometime this winter.
