First Official Look At Brie Larson As Captain Marvel
It was years ago at this point that Marvel and Disney announced Captain Marvel as part of their Marvel Cinematic Universe. While some candid pictures from the set of the Captain Marvel movie have leaked out on to the internet, Disney is finally showing official shows of actress Brie Larson in her superhero getup.

The movie version lacks her comic self's sash, but otherwise is pretty similar. She also looks quite a bit like her Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite model, which isn't surprising considering Marvel and Disney gave feedback on those designs.
Captain Marvel takes place well before the rest of the MCU in the far back days of the 1990s, meaning that it won't be an immediate reaction to the tease at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Rather than being an origin story, protagonist Carol Danvers already has her powers when the movie begins, but is designed not to leave viewers confused about the character or her incredibly powerful abilities.
As the next Marvel movie on the docket, Captain Marvel is scheduled for theaters on March 8.
