Gravity Falls Creator Signs Exclusive Deal With Netflix
Netflix has announced that they have signed a multi-year deal with Alex Hirsch, the creator of Disney's animated TV show Gravity Falls.
The deal has Hirsch making a new show for Netflix, as well as possible other features, for the service's adult animation slate that includes shows like Bojack Horseman and Disenchantment. On Twitter, Hirsch has been characteristically enthusiastic about the deal.

Hirsch also co-wrote the upcoming Detective Pikachu movie with Guardians of the Galaxy writer Nicole Perlman. When the movie went into production, however, Hirsch and Perlman's script was thrown out in favor of a newly-written one.
