Super Mario Party Is Coming To Switch In October

For the first time in the franchise’s history, the Mario Party series is receiving the Super prefix.

The game’s trailer showed the kind of action you would expect from a Mario Party game – a board, minigames, motions controls, etc., but there were some new wrinkles.

Arguably the most interesting new mechanic is the ability to play with two Switches. The trailer shows two Switches laid on a table, with the players using the two screens as separate, connected play-fields.

The trailer also showed a cooking game, a baseball minigame, and a whole lot more. Super Mario Party is coming to Switch October 5.
