Ridley Will Finally Be A Fighter In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The long-requested pterodactyl-dragon from the Metroid series is finally getting its time in the spotlight.

In the reveal for the new character, the familiar title cards reads, “Ridley hits the big time!”. The reveal shows Ridley attacking Mario, Mega Man, and Samus as they explore a space station of some kind in a pre-rendered short. From there, it cuts to gameplay showing Ridley is a larger character and can use his wings to fly, among other abilities.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is coming to Switch on December 7, 2018.
