New Tekken 7 DLC Season Begins With Negan From The Walking Dead Alongside Returning Characters
At the end of the Tekken 7 tournament at Evo 2018, Tekken producers Katushiro Harada and Michael Murray got on stage to announce the next DLC season of Tekken. The trailer, which you can see below, starts with returning characters Anna and Lei Wulong, and then ends with a teaser reveal of Negan from The Walking Dead.
Anna is shown in a black, frilled dress, designed seemingly to contrast Anna's wedding dress that actually isn't ever particularly well-explained in the game. Lei Wulong looks slightly younger than usual, but that the hardboiled detective still looks every bit the drunken master he's always been.
Finally, the trailer ends with Negan from AMC's The Walking Dead arriving cloaked in shadow, but spouting his "Little pig, little pig," line. It is certainly...an odd choice for Tekken 7's DLC, which was preceded by Geese Howard from Fatal Fury and Noctis from Final Fantasy XV.
All of these characters are part of Tekken 7's season two DLC and includes a few more returning characters that have yet to be revealed. Tekken 7 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC right now.
