Every Vehicle Nathan Drake Destroys In The Uncharted Series

by Haley MacLean on Jul 15, 2016 at 02:00 PM

In preparation for my latest feature wherein I look at the treasured tropes of Uncharted's storytelling, I played all four of Naughty Dog's inclusions to the series in the span of a couple weeks. During which, I took extensive notes to make sure when dealing with the multidimensional qualities of Naughty Dog's storytelling abilities, I had sufficient evidence to back it up.

Not everything I jotted down could be included in the feature, but there was one aspect of the game I tracked that needs to be somewhere on the internet, because as far as I can tell no one has ever taken the time.

Therefore, I present every vehicle Nathan Drake has destroyed by hand or by being in them (minus the ones caused by optional gameplay) throughout the entirety of Drake's Fortune, Among Thieves, Drake's Deception, and A Thief's End. Spoilers ahead.

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune

  • Search boat off the coast of Panama
  • German U Boat (Granted it was already destroyed, but Nate took it a step further)
  • Biplane on “a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific ocean”
  • Rusty Jeep while escaping from Eddy goes off a cliff
  • Helicopter carrying El Dorado crashes onto a cargo liner

Uncharted: Among Thieves

  • A train, you know the one
  • Blue Jeep in Nepal
  • Helicopter in Nepal
  • Tank in Tibet
  • Convoy of trucks, including your own

Uncharted: Drake’s Deception

  • Rames’ pirate ship, The Seaward
  • Cargo plane over the Syrian desert
  • Nearly every truck in the English caravan

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

  • A boat carrying you and Sam
  • Numerous jeeps and motorcycles while helping Sam escape Rafe's men in Madagascar
  • Armored truck in Madagascar
  • A jeep in a river outside Libertalia
  • Armored truck in Libertalia
  • Avery’s pirate ship

As well here is a bonus fun fact, every car Nathan is show driving in (not including buses or trucks) is a Jeep. He must have a sponsorship we're not aware of.
