Things That Can't Be Unseen At The Game Informer Office

by Andrew Reiner on Oct 14, 2009 at 07:08 PM

I am a creature of routines. If someone breaks my routine, I in turn break them. Everything on my desk is neatly organized. My workload is usually planned down to the minute. Today, my routine was broken. And, as I sit here typing, I can't seem to get back into the flow. The culprit is an image I can't seem to get out of my mind. Whenever I close my eyes, I can see it. Sometimes it makes me laugh. Sometimes it gives me a headache. As it turns out, since I walk around the Game Informer office with a camera strapped to my chest, I was able to record this image. I'm going to share it with you, but I first have to issue a warning: It will ruin your life. If you're willing to tag along, here's how the journey begins.

Every morning, I start my day with a Brandon Routh fist bump. This door leads to the aptly named Brandon Routh wing of Game Informer. Here, you will find a paper cutter, a stain on the carpet, and nothing more. Kinda sums up his acting career, no?

My journey then leads me to Naked Mario. I cross his legs to give him his dignity back. His pants, for whatever reason, are now worn by a Transformer.

My routine leads me to the steel chocobo. I do not like the steel chocobo. I usually spend a few minutes standing here, thinking of ways I can dispose of it without Meagan (its creator) noticing it's gone.

From here, I usually retreat to my office.

Today, something changed.

An event made me stop in my tracks.

I don't know how long I stood there staring.

It was long enough to ruin my day.

Brace yourselves.
