Five Simple Things That Would Make Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Better

If you haven't had a chance to experience Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood yet, I highly recommend it (especially if you enjoyed the previous installments). It's truly an outstanding game. Like any great game however, there are always things that could have been done better. Here are five things that would have made the game better in my humble opinion.

1: Don't make me watch a cutscene every time one of my recruit assassins gets initiated to the Brotherhood. It sucks. The first time, it was great. By the tenth initiation, it was not. (Hint:  You can do multiple assassins in one ceremony to save some viewings, but still.)

2. You know that bridge routine that you made me do with Lucy over and over again in the bowels of Monteriggioni? I only needed to do that once...maybe twice. No more.

3. First thing I would ask Leonardo to do is invent a device that lets me drop a smoke bomb that causes me to disappear ninja-style in non-combat situations and reappear at Ezio's Tiber Island Hideout. It would make managing all the quests and assets that much easier, and give quick access to the tunnel system.

4. Tell me when real estate opens up like you did in earlier games. I tried to reach those three final Borgia towers about six times before they actually opened up, wasting a lot of time in the process. Either let me know when areas open up, or don't show the freaking icon on the map until you're allowed to do the mission.

5. Explain the mission parameters. Several of them don't have expressed rules associated with them, and it sucks. Detail how each mission works in greater detail when needed. I don't mind dying, but I hate dying just because it's required to understand the situation. Trial and error is fantastic when done correctly (as it does many times in this game - see the assassination of The Banker), but lack of valid information on any given mission feels messy and ruins the entertainment value.
