GI Show 238: Ori And The Blind Forest, Hotline Miami 2, Code Name S.T.E.A.M., Star Wars
We have three great games to talk about this week, and some new Star Wars movie news.
First off, Andrew Reiner and Dan Tack are here to talk about Ori and the Blind Forest, a magical-yet-punishing platformer with Metroid-style exploration and a story that will hit some deep emotions. It's one of the year's best games.
In the second segment, Kim Wallace and Brian Shea are on hand to talk about Nintendo's quirky RTS Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. and the grim indie hit Hotline Miami 2. Brian also tells us about Cities: Skylines, a game that might be a salve to those who felt burned by the last SimCity and the recent closing of Maxis.
Finally, we break out our lightsabers and talk about the latest Star Wars news, including the newly announced Star Wars: Rogue One. We also ponder how these announcements could impact the Star Wars video game franchise.
