Rage 2, Just Cause 4, Splinter Cell, Gears Of War 5 & More Appear As Online Pre-Orders
A number of new titles, many announced, many unannounced, recently appeared on Walmart.com offering big hints at upcoming reveals, like a sequel to Rage (above).
Retailers frequently open up SKUs for games it assumes will be coming soon, so it is fair to emphasize that these listings should be looked at with skepticism. Presumably, the listings below will be removed soon, but as of this writing, you can find them here.

Many of the games on the list, like Beyond Good and Evil 2, The Last of Us 2, Super Smash Bros., and others are confirmed, even if we don't know a whole lot about them. Some of the big surprises, which may be meant to be E3 reveals, are Rage 2, Gears of War 5, Destiny Comet, Splinter Cell, and Just Cause 4. There are also curious listings like Final Fantasy VII Remake (is it no longer an episodic release? Is it closer than we think?), Assassin's Creed (is it a remake of the original for modern consoles? A remaster?), and Dragon Quest 2 (a remake of the NES classic?).
Again, it's possible that Walmart may be posting these listings just to have pre-order SKUs ready without any inside knowledge, but there are enough confirmed games alongside the surprises to add some credibility to the listings.

Our Take
I am always skeptical of retail listings like this. This is far from confirmation that these games are in development, but for all of these to appear at once, and include many confirmed games among its surprises, is very intersting. The timing also seems right for the surprises.
The original Rage came out in 2011 (with a cliffhanger ending, no less), it's been about four years since the last Splinter Cell game, Just Cause 3 came out in 2013, and Sam Fisher recently made an appearance in Ghost Recon Wildlands. It's about sequel time for all of those games. I bet we will find out more at E3.
