Family Guy Mashing With Warcraft On Sunday
Family Guy is bringing out its inner Leroy Jenkins as they mash with Warcraft in the next episode.
The Family Guy Twitter account earlier today tweeted out an image showing Peter as an orc and Stewie as a paladin. Currently, IMDB's plot description of the 22-minute episode, titled "Veteran Guy," says "Peter and the guys get caught pretending to be military veterans and are sentenced to join the Coast Guard," so it's unclear how much of it will be in Azeroth. The episode airs at 8 p.m. CST on Sunday on Fox.
This isn't the first time a popular adult cartoon has crossed over with Blizzard's property. On Oct. 4, 2006, South Park aired its acclaimed "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episode in which the kids – and Stan Marsh – play World of Warcraft and keep getting killed by an opponent that "has no life." The episode was highly acclaimed earning the show a Primetime Emmy Award.
